Is Instagram the Right Social Platform For My Business?

Is Instagram the Right Social Platform For My Business?

Instagram is the social media platform that skews the youngest as far as its user base is concerned.

At least when it comes to the Big 3.

If you want to appeal to the millennial and early to mid-20s demographic your business should find a way to utilize it.

Instagram, like Twitter, will require you to build an account for your business rather than a business centred page.

Unlike Twitter, however, Instagram is built around sharing pictures.

There is no character limit like Twitter but all posts must include a picture.

If your business is easily demonstrated via a visual medium [makeup, car restoration, home renovation, etc.] it is a must!

Anything where the results can be documented with a picture and showed off in the Instagram space then this platform can do wonders for your business.

Potential customers see examples of what you do and how skilled you or your employees are.

Even if you are not extremely visual the platform will still work.

Less visually focused businesses can still make the platform work as a supplement to their Facebook and Twitter posts using stock images, company logos, or any other relevant pictures.

But the platform does lose some of its flavour.
